Job Summary Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a Senior Test Engineer with expertise in the design, development, analysis, documentation, and support of the testing of complex products, systems or subsystems. The candidate must have the ability to determine how to create a process that would best test a product in order to assure that the product meets applicable requirements and specifications. The selected candidate will work with other engineering disciplines and use their test engineering expertise to verify various systems and subsystems across multiple technology areas.

Job Responsibilities Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems (with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or software components). Determine how to create processes to best test a product in order to assure that the product meets applicable requirements and specifications. Lead the design and development of test programs to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services. Write test plans and procedures to evaluate the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications. Troubleshoot test hardware and software. Design and setup instrumentation for measuring test parameters, e.g. strain, pressure, acceleration, temperature, etc. Analyze measurement data to verify performance criteria. Provide budget, cost and schedule inputs for assignments and proposals. Be able to work independently, regularly reporting progress and status.
