Responsibilities
Test Automation Development:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Test Planning And Strategy
Contribute to test planning activities by providing input on testability, automation, and test coverage.
Develop and implement test strategies for both new and existing features.
Defect Identification And Reporting
Investigate, identify, and document software defects with a high level of detail.
Collaborate with developers to facilitate the resolution of identified issues.
Performance Testing
Develop and execute performance and load testing scripts using Java-based tools and frameworks.
Analyze and report on the performance characteristics of software applications.
Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to ensure a collaborative and efficient development process.
Continuous Learning
Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing and automation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SDET or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
