Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for embedded locomotive control software Perform manual and automated testing with proper requirements traceability and coverage validation Conduct black-box testing for embedded applications and control systems Participate in design reviews to ensure system testability and compliance with requirements Analyze system-level and subsystem-level designs to create comprehensive validation scenarios Work extensively with vSIM and Hardware-in-the-Test-Loop (HITL) test environments Validate embedded systems using simulation platforms and real-time testing environments Perform integration testing and system-level validation to identify and troubleshoot functional issues Validate system behavior using dynamic system models and real-world operational data Support locomotive system integration, troubleshooting, and field validation activities Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams for new product development and system upgrades

Must Skills:

Embedded Software Testing and Validation Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Test Case Development vSIM and HITL testing environments Black-box Testing and Integration Testing Python scripting for test automation and data analysis
