Required Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience providing technical leadership in software engineering, DevOps, and cloud development
Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible
Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in Linux and at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, etc.)
Experience with distributed systems such as Kafka and Spark
Experience with distributed data stores including Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (master and worker nodes)
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment
Monitoring and Observability
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Datadog, HashiCorp tools, or LogDNA
Experience managing and configuring Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud
Familiarity with Splunk clustered deployment topology
Development and Architecture
Experience working with Python, Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native databases
Experience converting monolithic applications into microservices (REST/GraphQL) following 12-factor app principles
Prior experience building large-scale, distributed, data-intensive applications (preferably on Google Cloud Platform)
Certifications
Architect-level certification on one or more cloud platforms is preferred
Soft Skills
Strong mentoring, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizations
Experience working in remote, globally distributed teams and asynchronous environments
Self-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and clear documentation
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
