Our client is seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Senior Smart Contract Auditor to join their growing security team in Boston, Massachusetts, US . This critical role involves rigorously analyzing smart contracts and blockchain protocols to identify vulnerabilities, ensure security, and maintain the integrity of decentralized applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of smart contract programming, common security exploits, and formal verification techniques.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts across various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, BSC, Polygon). Identify, analyze, and document potential vulnerabilities, bugs, and security risks within smart contract code. Develop and execute test plans, static analysis, and dynamic testing methodologies for smart contracts. Provide detailed and actionable recommendations for remediation of identified security issues. Collaborate with development teams to explain vulnerabilities and guide them in implementing secure coding practices. Contribute to the development of internal security tools, frameworks, and best practices for smart contract auditing. Stay up-to-date with the latest emerging threats, attack vectors, and security advancements in the blockchain space. Write clear, concise, and thorough audit reports for clients and internal stakeholders. Mentor junior auditors and contribute to team knowledge sharing and professional development. Participate in threat modeling and security design reviews for new blockchain projects. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are highly desirable. Minimum of 4 years of experience in smart contract development, security analysis, or vulnerability research.
