## The Role
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll play a key role in creating automation testing strategies for Onyx, our robust multi-module annuity administrative platform. Onyx is built on a modern tech stack and successfully launched in 2020. It offers seamless integration capabilities, advanced analytics, and user-friendly interfaces that support efficient operations and scalability across multiple companies within Group 1001.
You'll work closely with Developers, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts to grow your knowledge and implement effective automation solutions that ensure our products maintain the highest quality standards.
## What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing, documenting, and executing end-to-end automation suites as part of our overall build and deployment lifecycle. You'll collaborate with business and product managers on test case design to achieve comprehensive coverage and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Refinement, and Retrospectives.
Beyond execution, you'll develop solutions and proposals to lead our automation development strategy and implementation, working to continuously improve software quality. You'll determine what types of testing are necessary to ensure overall quality, oversee test execution, monitor results, and generate reports. Providing guidance and training to team members is also part of the role as you help elevate the capabilities of those around you.
