We’re recruiting an Automation Test Engineer, with trading platform experience, for a leading software company that develops advanced solutions for trading and risk management across global financial and energy markets.

This is a hybrid role that requires you to work 2 / 3 days a week on client site in Houston.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using C#.Net and SpecFlowLead integration and API testing across complex distributed systemsValidate complex transactional and data-driven workflowsDefine and execute BDD test scenarios using Gherkin / SpecFlowWork closely with developers, product teams and customers to ensure robust test coverageTake ownership of testing activity within projects, acting as a trusted technical advisor

Required Experience

Strong hands-on experience with C#.Net test automationExperience with SpecFlow and BDD frameworks (Gherkin, Cucumber or similar)Strong background in integration testing and API testingSolid SQL and database validation skills, including validating complex datasetsExperience testing RESTful APIs (HTTP, JSON)Comfortable working as a self-starter with ownership of test deliveryConfident engaging with customers and stakeholders in a consultative capacity
